Purpose

The U.S. is undergoing a profound workforce transformation driven by automation, generative AI, and other emerging technologies. “Good jobs” are rapidly shifting toward roles that require education beyond high school, while opportunities for workers with only a high school diploma continue to shrink. At the same time, advances in AI may be reshaping labor market opportunities for college graduates in ways that will require them to be agile and adaptable throughout their careers and to acquire work experiences integrated with education that compensate for changes to, if not reductions in, early career jobs critical to advancement.
